Consumer voice assistant use in healthcare grew rapidly in 2020 and has settled in about three times higher in 2021 than 2019. However, that rapid rise in demand is still supply constrained. Voicebot’s second report assessing voice assistant adoption in healthcare compares use and interest data from 2019, 2020, and 2021. It also expands on the 2019 report to include consumer sentiment around other conversational AI solutions such as chatbots and IVR. Finally, we analyze the key industry trends and provide a framework for conversational AI use cases in healthcare broken down into patient and clinical services.
